Meet Becky Meritt, NPP
Becky Meritt is a trained, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner based in Rochester, NY.
Becky has clinical experience with treating trauma-disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorder, psychosis, depression, and anxiety-based disorders. She has a passion and focus for youth dually diagnosed with mental health and developmental disabilities, extending her experience to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities and fetal alcohol spectrum disorder.
Becky’s framework of treatment is centered on biopsychosocial model of wellness which treats an individual from a holistic perspective. She strives on building a therapeutic relationship with clients and believes in treatment that provides support for life-long changes beyond the office setting.
Becky completed her undergraduate nursing degree at Roberts Wesleyan College and obtained her masters at the University of Rochester. Her clinical experience has included work in inpatient hospitalization, residential treatment, outpatient treatment, integrated school programs, and group homes.
